I can truly say it is one of the best companies I have worked for.  You may ask, why? The main reason is that I feel like part of a family – there is no sense of feeling like you’re just a number. The values we hold as a company are like no other and are truly demonstrated by all those who work for Safestore. It really is somewhere I can call a home from home.

The thing I enjoy most about my role is motivating and inspiring my team to be the best that they can be, leading them to succeed. Having small teams of 3-4 people means that I can give them my full attention, support them on a day-to-day basis, and deliver coaching sessions alongside personal development plans, which all enhances their performance.

Safestore offers a wide variety of personal development opportunities.  One of which I am very interested in is LEAD, which is a Level 5 apprenticeship program based on Leadership and Management. This will give me the opportunity to gain a leadership and management qualification, learn new skills, and develop myself as a Store Manager, in the hopes one day I will become a Regional Manager.

All in all, how would I describe Safestore in 3 words?  Enjoyable, inspiring, and friendly! "
