Roger Mouncher

As a Regional Manager, I am responsible for establishing best practice, improving colleague engagement, and motivating my diverse team to be successful. I take pride in knowing all colleagues in my region and regularly visit my sites to ensure we have exceptional standards in every location. 

I contribute to Safestore’s success by developing and implementing a regional plan to inspire and develop my team, through effective leadership, recruitment, coaching and training. I inspire my team to grow the sales and profit performance of every store in our region, whilst ensuring compliance to Safestore policies and procedures. 

Despite being the largest self-storage operator in the UK, and part of the FTSE 250, I love the sense of community and belonging at Safestore whilst every-one having the ability to be themselves  It feels like a family here, with some important core values, demonstrated by our Investors in People Platinum Accreditation. 

I try to involve every colleague in my region in shaping our strategy, through capturing and sharing ideas as this is the greatest strength for success. My belief is that a team who feel trusted, valued and heard will be a team who are happy and motivated to achieve together.
